You know how I love to work on old tube equipment. Well, "Listener John" gave me this ancient Conn "Stroboconn" instrument tuner. It was dead when I first plugged it in, but after some workbench "love" over the weekend, it's back to perfect operating condition. This was made from the mid-1930's through 1975 or so. Many orchestras used this piece of equipment to "tune up", and because it displays all the musical notes at once, no switching is required.

7:10 Professor Jim Huffman, Dean Emeritus at Lewis and Clark College of Law.  Jim writes at the Cascade Policy Instute. His latest piece - "Why Has Non-Teaching Staff Surged in Oregon Public Schools".

7:35 State Rep. Sal Esquivel discusses the public archery issue, and how the ODFW money will transfer to help the county archery range, rather than constructing a new one at Denman.

8:10 Kevin Starrett - Oregon Firearms Federation - State of gun rights post-election, and now's the time to donate to their PAC. $50 for single filers/$100 for married couples, it comes off your state tax bill, and helps fight for your gun rights. It's going to be a battle-filed 4 years!
