SUSPECT #2, DZHOKAR TSARAEV, IN CUSTODY

FOX NEWS CONFIRMS that the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing is in custody. Police found him hiding in a boat covered by a tarp behind a house in the Watertown section of Boston. Police moved in on Dzhokar Tsarnaev late this afternoon (Friday) after citizen tips led them to a home on Franklin Street in Watertown. He was taken into custody around 5:50pm PT.

Earlier, Boston was locked down after the big shootout, carjacking, explosive-throwing car chase in Boston's  Watertown neighborhood with Dzhokar and his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev. It all started with the duo robbing a 7-11 store in Watertown, shooting and killing a MIT police officer, and then hijacking a Mercedes SUV.

26-year old Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in the late Thursday night shootout. Tamerian was apparently run over by the SUV driven by his younger brother, and was also reported to have had a bomb strapped to his chest. Both have origins in the Russia region near Chechnya, and have lived in the U.S. for many years.

Will NPR "walk back" this reporting?
