1-15-20: SEVERAL ROADS STILL SOCKED IN WITH WEATHER

SEVERAL ROADWAYS IN OUR REGION CONTINUE TO BE HAMPERED BY THE WEATHER. HIGHWAY 140 STILL HAS CHAINS REQUIRED IN SOME PARTS. THE HIGHWAY WAS ACTUALLY SHUT DOWN YESTERDAY AFTER A BIG RIG JACKKNIFED. SEXTON SUMMIT IS ANOTHER OF THE PLACES TO WATCH OUT FOR WITH ODOT REPORTING HEAVY ICE ON THE ROAD. HIGHWAY 230 IS STILL ENTIRELY SHUT DOWN, AS WELL AS HIGHWAY 138 EAST FROM MILEPOST 59 TO 101. FINALLY, HIGHWAY 62 CONTINUES TO BE CLOSED FROM PROSPECT TO CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK’S WEST BOUNDARY.
