10-10-18: GRANTS PASS POLICE DETECTIVE ASKED TO LEAVE CELL PHONE SHOP.

A GRANTS PASS POLICE DETECTIVE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE AN INDEPENDENTLY OWNED T-MOBILE CELLPHONE SHOP MONDAY, BECAUSE HIS HOLSTERED SERVICE WEAPON WAS IN PLAIN VIEW. THE ISSUE SPARKED A SOCIAL MEDIA BACKLASH. T-MOBILE WAS NOT IMMEDIATELY RESPONSIVE. BUT THEN AT LEAST ONE CORPORATE OFFICIAL TOOK TO TWITTER, APOLOGIZING TO THE DETECTIVE, AND SAYING THAT THE ISSUE WOULD BE ADDRESSED.
