3-31-20: OREGON OSHA GETTING COMPLAINTS OF NON-COMPLIANCE

OREGON’S OCCUPATIONS SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION SAYS THAT THEY’RE GETTING A LOT OF COMPLAINTS OF BUSINESSES, THAT ARE NOT COMPLYING WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS. AND THEY AIM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. BUSINESSES COULD NOW FACE SURPRISE INSPECTIONS AS EARLY AS MONDAY IF COMPLAINTS DON’T SLOW DOWN. THE PENALTY COULD BE ANYWHERE FROM A CITATION TO A FINE, AND EVEN JAIL TIME.
