6-12-19: JOSEPHINE COUNTY SEEKS ADA COORDINATOR AMID LAWSUIT

A FEDERAL LAWSUIT, FILED BY AN OHIO MAN AFTER NOT BEING ABLE TO USE THE SHOWER IN A JOSEPHINE COUNTY PARK’S CAMPGROUND, NOW HAS THE COUNTY LOOKING TO PAY MORE MIND TO THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT. RICHARD WAGNER, WHO USES A WHEELCHAIR, COMPLAINED THAT HE WAS NOT ABLE TO GET INTO THE SHOWER FACILITIES AT SCHROEDER PARK NEAR GRANTS PASS. THE COUNTY NOW SEEKS AN ADA COORDINATOR, WHICH CAN BE APPLIED FOR UNTIL JUNE 23RD.
