I haven’t done absolutely every race but here are most of the major contested ones. Email bill@billmeyershow if you have other questions.
The short answer is NO on ALL the State Measures
115 – Allows impeachment of top state officials – NO, will be used to go after GOP, requires 2/3rds majority that would only come with the Democrats
116 NO – Creates Independent Compensation Committee – Dems want this to be able to raise legislative salaries without their fingerprints being on it.
117 – Ranked Choice Voting – absolutely freaking NOOOOOOO! – complex, confusing, as if voting wasn’t screwed up ENOUGH in Oregon. Democrats want it, fugeddabout it.
118 – Raises Big Corporate taxes Bigly, $1600 rebates to the sheeple. It’s more training people for socialism and universal basic income, plus it’s a business killer – NO NO NO, even the Dems are backing away from this.
119 – Requires pot business to essentially shut up, if their workers want to unionize. What anti-free speech union butt kissing B.S.
17-119 – Rogue Community College bond. Would renew a 13 cent per thousand Jackson County bond for campus expansion and would raise the Jo County rate to 13 cent per thousand. I voted NO on this not because I don’t support RCC, but because it’s a combined countywide district vote. Jackson County could, with enough yes votes, force Jo County to pay higher taxes. I don’t think it’s right to do this. I would vote NO in Jackson or Josephine county.
