By nearly every metric, Earth’s ecosystems are thriving, and the human condition is improving. This notion of a prospering planet is entirely contrary to the claims of a climate crisis and a looming disaster around every corner, as proclaimed by the Climate Industrial Complex.

The USPS just celebrated a milestone delivery of its five billionth piece of mail; this, however, is still overshadowed by the nearly $10 billion spent on the USPS’s attempt to transition to electric mail trucks.

Since Biden’s pledge to roll out 66,000 electric trucks in 2022, only 93 trucks have been produced, costing $3 billion.

Trump’s transition team is looking to cancel this contract as part of his effort to roll back Biden’s Green New Scam.

Biden Admin Auctions Border Wall Materials in

Apparent Last-Ditch Effort to Hamstring Trump

The Biden administration is giving President-elect Trump a hostile parting gift as he prepares to reenter the White House. The administration has reportedly been quietly removing and auctioning off unused border wall materials from the southern border, in what appears to be an effort to delay Trump’s plans to restart construction.

Footage captured by The Daily Wire shows flatbed trucks transporting steel border wall sections away from the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, including the hotspot Tucson sector, to auction off. One might wonder: what if the Biden administration had put this level of effort into building the wall and securing the border rather than dismantling it?

A Border Patrol agent reports that as much as half a mile of unused wall material is being removed daily. “The goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas,” the agent told The Daily Wire. The agent added, “[Trump’s] gonna have to fight for this—again.”

GovPlanet, a government surplus equipment auction site, is facilitating the sale of these materials, with bidding starting at just $5.

The Biden administration’s actions could delay the Trump administration’s plans to resume construction. Trump is expected to issue an executive order unlocking funding for the wall on his first day in office, but the removal and auctioning of materials may extend the timeline for restarting construction.

The American people gave President-elect Trump a mandate to secure the border, including building the wall. They fully expect him to act on that mandate starting on day one. Unfortunately, his administration now faces yet another obstacle: the Biden administration’s decision to betray the American people on its way out the door.

The first two public hearings in over half a century included testimony under oath from military and intelligence officers with jaw-dropping allegations of a clandestine program to analyze recovered materials and non-human biologics. Through candid interviews with high-ranking insiders, elected officials, physicists, intelligence officers, and military whistleblowers, The Program goes behind the scenes to leave even the staunchest skeptics astounded by the assertions from a growing chorus of insiders that we are not alone.

Marketing expert Bernie J. Mullin, author of Reimagining America’s Dream.

When Bernie J. Mullin first arrived in the United States in the 1970s, he saw his new home as a land of unrivaled opportunity. In the fifty years since, he has embraced everything that America has to offer. Bernie’s American journey has seen him rise from college student to pioneer of a new academic discipline, and from small business owner to senior roles at some of America’s most beloved sports institutions. But as his own star rose, Bernie watched in alarm as the ties that bind America together began to come loose. Reimagining America’s Dream is his prescription for the fever that is pulling America apart.

This book follows Bernie through five decades spent in pursuit of the American dream. It shows that the American dream has become increasingly unattainable for many of this country’s citizens. And as that dream fades, so the fabric of our nation begins to fray. To grasp the promise of an ever-more perfect union, we need a common purpose, a shared story that anyone can write in the pages of their own life.

7:35 Jamie Cavanaugh is legal policy counsel at Pacific Legal Foundation, where she works with legislators around the country to end burdensome laws and create opportunities for individuals to thrive.

Jaimie’s work as a former litigator led to the recognition of the right to economic liberty by the Georgia Supreme Court and ended New Jersey’s ban on selling cottage food. In Minnesota, she secured a victory for vintners who wanted to make wine with ingredients from other states and eased needlessly restrictive continuing legal education requirements for attorneys.

But there are many ways to advance liberty, and Jaimie also spent several years urging legislators to reform or repeal certificate of need laws, which make it difficult or impossible to open healthcare facilities.

Health care shortages are a nationwide problem, but they are particularly concerning in Oregon — the state with the second fewest hospital beds and second fewest rehabilitation beds per capita. This problem didn’t pop up overnight. Instead, Oregon’s “certificate of need” laws (CON laws) have been restricting growth for decades, leaving Oregonians without access to much needed health care services.

Why do these laws still exist? Well, the laws allow existing providers to block new or innovative services from the market and is why big, entrenched businesses support these laws. Additionally, Oregon’s own state legislature refuses to get rid of them.

Sadly, Oregon has 40 different CON requirements and the real losers are Oregonians who cannot access needed therapies. Read more about Oregon’s healthcare crisis in today’s, The Oregonian and let your legislators know you deserve better.

Ashland New Year’s Day Flood of 1997

By Dennis Powers

Jackson and Josephine County have experienced eleven major floods over the last century, the landmark event occurring in 1964, which set most of the high-water records for the region. The area later experienced in late-December 1996 and New Year’s Day of 1997 another destructive event, known as the “New Year’s Day Flood.” This impacted residents on both sides of the border in Oregon and California.

Similar to 1964, a warm rain followed weeks of heavy snowfall on the mountains, as the streams and rivers rose to 100-year flood levels, leading to flooding in both urban and rural areas. This caused multi-million dollars of damages to homes, businesses, and infrastructure in Southern Oregon alone (one estimate being as high as $50 million); more than 1,500 people were evacuated and over 1,000 properties damaged. In January 1997, President Clinton declared fourteen Oregon countiesincluding Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath countieseligible for disaster assistance.

Over 70 landslides occurred throughout Jackson County, but Ashland was hardest hit when Ashland Creek surged down to cut the town in half. With turbulent, muddy, dangerous waters, the swollen creek pounded through Lithia Park. When logs, mud, and debris clogged the culverts under Winburn Way at the entrance to Lithia Park, the massive tsunami-like flood leaped over its banks to flood the park and downtown plaza.

Residents awoke on New Year’s Day to discover that flooding was covering the downtown and other areas. Over the next hours into the following day, they discovered that the currents had ripped through streets, caused massive infrastructure damage, and severed the main sewer and water lines with a 20-foot waterfall that thundered down where an important street once was. The prime arteries of Main Street and Lithia Way through the town were impassable, and traffic needed to be detoured to I-5 and over out-of the-way back streets.

Depending on the area, running water and sewage services were cut for a week or more. Houses were flooded and people had to evacuate or scramble to higher floors. For days, residents put garbage cans out to collect rainwater, stood in line for drinking water from National Guard water trucks, and even pooled money to rent portable toilets for their neighborhoods. City residents couldn’t drink city water for up to two weeks and others didn’t have sewer service during most of January. Accounting for 1/3rd of the county’s losses, Ashland incurred $4.5 million in damages to its infrastructure, not including people’s homes, cars, and businesses. Nobody was reported to be seriously injured.

As Ashland rebuilt, the city and residents turned Lithia Park back into the centerpiece it is how. Learning the hard way about natural disaster preparedness, the town created a Community Emergency Response Team (“CERT”) program and has trained hundreds of volunteers in such preparedness. The risk of these type of disasters, however, is always present over time.
