7:35 Robert H. Bork, Jr. is President of the Antitrust Education Project (AEP) and the eldest son of the late Judge Robert H. Bork. He is co-author of The New Paradox: Antitrust and the Threat of Conservative Socialism. His legal experience spans antitrust, securities fraud, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, white-collar crime, First Amendment, and employment discrimination www.AntitrustEducationProject.org
Socialism is a Problem for Conservatives too!
A growing debate inside the conservative movement is raising concerns that Republicans are drifting away from traditional free-market principles and toward what some critics are calling “conservative socialism”—a shift driven by expanding industrial policy, regulatory intervention, and more aggressive antitrust enforcement.
Available for interviews: Robert H. Bork, Jr. — President of the Antitrust Education Project and co-author of The New Paradox: Antitrust and the Threat of Conservative Socialism.
Bork can discuss:
- Why he believes parts of the Republican Party are abandoning the consumer welfare standard
- How modern antitrust policy is reshaping mergers, markets, and innovation
- The rise of industrial policy and government involvement in private industry
- Concerns about political influence in tariffs, regulation, and enforcement actions
- Why he argues conservatives risk undermining free-market capitalism from within
Nowhere is the leftward turn of the Republican Party more apparent than in antitrust.
The Biden Administration had set out guidelines for mergers and acquisitions that barely mentioned consumers but defined many reasons for the Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission to stop any merger cold. These guidelines were so ideological and political that they were denounced by 17 former chief economists of the Justice Department and FTC from both parties.
- Now the Trump Administration regulators have embraced these guidelines with no changes, while continuing the legacy antitrust actions of the Biden Administration. They have jettisoned the Consumer Welfare Standard as its guiding light, a policy that judged every business deal not by political connections or ideological purity, but by benefits for working, consuming Americans.
- On Capitol Hill, Republican senators long seen as rock-solid conservatives are aligning with Sen. Elizabeth Warren to endorse government schemes to control the internet and to widen antitrust enforcement to make virtually any significant business deals impossible. That won’t be a correction. That will be the fossilization of capitalism.
Conservatives must wake up to what is happening, and how much is at stake. The strange afterlife of Biden antitrust policies in the Trump Administration must be reversed in order to defend a free-market system integral to the American way.
The New Paradox is a spirited call for conservatives to wake up and reverse this tide of conservative socialism.

8:10 Alvin Lui, President of COURAGE is A HABIT www.Courageisahabit.org
While the national debate over biological males in women’s sports continues to dominate headlines—like the CA trans athlete AB Hernandez—a new case study from Alvin Lui, President Courage Is A Habit takes the issue down to the local level and uncovers a surprising trend: the strongest defenders of policies allowing biological males into female spaces were overwhelmingly women themselves.
They conducted a forensic analysis of the public discourse surrounding Indiana House District 40 candidate Will Colteryahn’s stance on biological males in female-only spaces. The study tracked 176 interactions from 111 unique posters, categorizing participants by gender, stance, and rhetorical strategy.
Key findings include:
- The 95% Consensus: In a staggering statistical find, 94.5% of the women analyzed in this district’s discourse actively supported the candidate’s “word salad” policy that allows biological males into girls’ sports and locker rooms.
- The Male Frontline: The data proves that the defense of biological reality is almost exclusively a male-driven effort. Nearly 100% of the initial logical and biological pushback came from men—largely fathers and coaches—who were then met with a “Female Shield” of woke consensus.
- Weaponized “Kindness”: Our report identifies the specific machinery used to silence parents, including “Threat Displacement” (claiming women are safer with trans-males than with “cis” men) and “Statistical Minimization” (arguing the problem is too small to matter).
- The “Enforcer” Profile: We’ve identified a specific sub-demographic of “Male Feminist” enforcers who use aggressive, gendered bullying (e.g., “cuck” rhetoric) to silence dissenting fathers, all while hiding behind anonymous or highly curated “ally” profiles.
The “Nobody Else Has This” Factor:
Unlike traditional polling, this is a behavioral map documenting how these debates actually unfold in real time at the community level. The study includes screenshots, interaction tracking, categorized poster analysis, and rhetorical pattern mapping.

CWA Comment to FCC Calls for Increased Transparency, Accuracy of TV Ratings System
WASHINGTON, DC (May 18, 2026) – Concerned Women for America (CWA) filed an FCC comment about why TV programs should alert parents to LGBTQ+ and other sensitive content in shows, especially those targeted to children.
The comments were submitted in response to the FCC Media Bureau’s Public Notice seeking input on whether and how the TV Parental Guidelines age ratings system and the Television Oversight Monitoring Board can be improved to better empower parents in today’s viewing environment, including streaming and on-demand platforms.
“The current TV ratings system was created for a broadcast-era ecosystem and is overseen by the very entities whose content it rates, and it does not serve families with accurate and actionable information across platforms,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America, and a former FCC special advisor.
“For instance, parents need a TV content ratings system that discloses LGBTQ+ and other sensitive themes so they can make informed viewing choices for their families. Currently, parents are forced to discover inappropriate sexual themes in their children’s programming after it’s too late to do anything about it. If parents are to trust the TV content ratings system, TV programs must disclose that they contain LGBTQ+ themes. The TV content ratings system must support parents, protect children, and ensure accuracy and transparency.
“We also believe the TV Parental Guidelines Oversight Monitoring Board, which has oversight over the TV content ratings system, must include more parent groups, child‑advocacy organizations, and independent experts, and fewer industry-aligned stakeholders. Parents deserve to have their voices heard,” she said.
A CWA analysis of Netflix programming rated appropriate for children revealed that 41% of G-rated series and 41% of TV-Y7-rated series contain LGBTQ+ content.
CWA is urging concerned citizens to file FCC comments at: https://cwfa.quorum.us/campaign/161653/ by May 22, 2026.

6:30 SCOTT DAVIS, author of LAST OF THE OLD BREED: An Oral History of the Final Marines from World War II
ABOUT SCOTT DAVIS AND THE LAST OF THE OLD BREED
An oral history of the brutal Pacific Theater in WWII, told by many of the last living U.S. Marine veterans.
During World War II, over 16 million Americans served in the Armed Forces. Today, less than 1 percent are still alive. The Last of the Old Breed is an unprecedented oral history of the final living United States Marines from World War II, featuring over 130 veterans, ranging in age from 90 to 103. Told in harrowing detail, the witnesses reveal the brutal reality of combat against a fanatical enemy and the heavy toll it took on their post-war lives.
From retirement facilities, veteran’s hospitals, and modest homes across the country, the last witnesses opened up about the war like never before, determined to leave an honest account for future generations. For many of the veterans, this was the first – and final – time telling their stories.
The Last of the Old Breed is a rare, unvarnished look at the Pacific War, in the words of those who were there. These are the stories that could not be told – until now.
SCOTT DAVIS BIO

7:10. Craig DeLuz – Project 21 Ambassador Craig DeLuz “Homeownership has long been one of the most reliable paths by which ordinary people build wealth,” in the commentary below.
12 May 2026 Craig DeLuz:
When Wall Street Moves In Next Door
Craig DeLuz
Homeownership has long been one of the most reliable paths by which ordinary people build wealth. Not through speculation or financial sophistication, but through the simple, steady accumulation of equity in a place they call home. That path is narrowing — and not entirely for the reasons most commonly cited.
Inflation, zoning restrictions, and supply constraints are real. But there is another factor worth examining: the large-scale acquisition of single-family homes by institutional investors. When hedge funds and private equity firms deploy billions of dollars to purchase thousands of homes — sometimes entire neighborhoods at a time — they are not simply participating in a market. They are reshaping it.
Words like “free market” get thrown around a great deal, often by people who have not thought through what those words actually mean. A market functions well when buyers and sellers meet on terms that reflect genuine competition. When one class of buyer can make all-cash offers at scale, outbidding families using FHA or VA loans before those families even know the house is available, that is not competition. That is displacement.
The consequences follow as predictably as night follows day. Prices rise. First-time buyers are crowded out. Homes that might have anchored a family’s financial future for generations become permanent rental inventory instead. The gap between those who own property and those who never will grows a little wider.

Art Pollard: Southern Oregon’s Racecar Driver
By Dennis Powers
Born in Utah in 1927, Art Pollard grew up in Roseburg and graduated from Roseburg High (1945), where he was an “outstanding” player in both basketball and football. He joined the U.S. Navy one year later, and after his service, even visited U.S. troops during a goodwill tour of Vietnam (1971). He lived in Medford during the 1960s until his untimely death. He died on May 12, 1973, when his racecar hit the wall and caught on fire while practicing on Pole Day for the 1973 Indianapolis 500. The day before, he had the fastest time; Pollard’s lap prior to the crash was timed at 192+ mph. He was 46 years old.
Racing in midget car-races in Roseburg, Art drove modified hardtops locally (in stock-car races) and at the Eugene Speedway before expanding to super-modifieds (as at the Indianapolis 500). He traveled on racing circuits throughout the West and won the Western States Championship in 1961. When not racing, Pollard worked as a car dealer and mechanic.
Pollard graduated to the national USAC (“United States Auto Club”) Championship Car Series, racing during the 1965 to 1973 seasons with 84 career starts (including the 1967 – 1971 Indy 500 races), where he finished 30 times in the top 10 on the national circuit with two victories (both in 1969) and finished second in the first two California 500s at Ontario Motor Speedway. His Indy 500 racing was between 1967 (finishing 8th) and 1971 (finishing 22nd, owing to engine malfunction). His worst finish was a 31rst in 1969 due to a driveline issue.
Pollard was more than a racecar driver; very competitive on the courses, he was easygoing off and particularly caring for kids. Art became involved with children with special emotional needs at the Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, where “Art Pollard Day in May” was held annually during Indy month. Drivers continued the tradition 20 years after his death, and a playground at the hospital is named in his honor. He went out of his way to include other drivers to raise money and greet the kids at the hospital.
The “beloved” Southern Oregon native was recognized also at the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville and in a book. A 33-car exhibit celebrated the 100th running of the Indy 500 from June 2016 to April 2017; it featured Indy cars from seven decades, spanning the race’s early era to modern cars. The cars on display that Pollard used were a sprint car, the famous Andy Granatelli STP Turbine (basically a jet engine, driven in 1968), and the Rolla Vollstedt Offenhauser (1966).
Pollard was the subject of author Bob Kehoe’s book, “Art Pollard: The Life and Legacy of a Gentleman Racer” that was released in May 2016. For years, an Art Pollard Memorial Race was held annually at the Southern Oregon Speedway (the Jackson County Sports Park in White City).
