The overwhelming majority of people can accept the outcome of an election (though they might be deeply disappointed if their candidate loses), but no one should be willing to accept an unfair voting system. Losing a hard-fought election is one thing; but losing by deceit and duplicity is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated. If the security and sacredness of elections are ever taken away, no action by the people can change the course and consequences that will result. So, the calling is clear, and the responsibility is undeniable.

the Supreme Court hears arguments in City of Grants Pass v. Johnson.
Grants Pass is a case about whether cities can use their powers to manage the community’s health, safety, and welfare to protect public property and solve the homeless crisis or if the federal courts are right that even fining someone for sleeping on public property is unconstitutional. With the homelessness crisis exploding, the Supreme Court should intervene to bring much-needed direction to this public policy problem.
But the more significant question is: how did our country get to where hundreds of thousands are homeless?
Mark Miller wrote an op-ed for Fox News on the case: Supreme Court can fix homeless crisis that government caused. Mark also authored an amicus brief in the Grants Pass case.

REPRESENTATIVE DWAYNE YUNKER RESPONDS TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION’S NEW TITLE IX REGULATIONS: DEMANDS PAUSE
SALEM, Ore. — In response to the U.S. Department of Education’s release today of final Title IX regulations redefining sex in civil rights law, Representative Dwayne Yunker (R-Grants Pass) issued the following statement.
“Replacing ‘sex’ with ‘gender identity’ is social theory with disastrous real-world consequences. President Joe Biden has allowed activists to write the Department of Education’s regulations, much like former Oregon Gov. Kate Brown did, beginning with her gender identity executive order back in 2019. Now in Oregon, a male student has been winning girls high school track races all season,” said Representative Yunker.
“My daughter’s high school track team placed second at state in the 400m relay last year, and is likely headed to state again this year. This nonsense is not compassionate. It’s dangerous. The Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon School Activities Association must change their policies. And if President Biden and Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek don’t put a stop to this crisis, they must be held accountable, both in court and by the voters.”
