His bio-https://www.cfact.org/bonner-cohen/.

Bonner R. Cohen is a senior policy analyst with the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, where he concentrates on energy, natural resources, and international relations.

Bonner discusses what he believes the Trump administration will do, including:

Rollback the EV mandates (EPA tailpipe emissions – already under court challenge) and Biden-era policies to shut down natural gas and coal-fired power plants.

Exit the 2015 Paris Climate Accords.  The agreement should be submitted to the Senate as a treaty, which it is, where it requires a two-thirds vote (67 votes) for ratification.  It will not get the 67 votes, and that will be the end of it.

Greenlight construction of liquid natural gas (LNG) export terminals so that U.S. LNG can be exported to customers around the world.

End the Interior Departments plans to install hundreds of thousands of solar panels on federal land in the West.

Terminate federal green building codes now being imposed by HUD.

Approve oil and natural gas pipelines to strengthen U.S. energy infrastructure.

End the war on fossil fuels and reinstate the policy of American energy dominance.

Phase out taxpayer subsidies for wind and solar power.

8:10 Mike O’Neil from the Landmark Legal Foundation – Mike

Statement on the Trump criminal cases

There are four criminal cases involving President-Elect Trump. The two federal cases, brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith, will most likely be terminated. The two ongoing state cases may continue but there are legal arguments to delay or dismiss these cases.

Jack Smith’s prosecutions in Florida and Washington DC:  Upon taking office, President Trump can dissolve the Office of Special Counsel, effectively ending these cases.  President Trump can also (most likely) pardon himself for these alleged federal crimes.

Meanwhile, the 11th Circuit will hold a hearing on the Judge Cannon’s dismissal of the Florida prosecution (Mar-a-Lago classified documents case) but will probably not be in a position to either affirm or reverse the dismissal before Trump dissolves the Office of the Special Counsel.

As for the election interference case, Judge Chutkin (DC District Court) is now considering issues regarding presidential immunity and the legality of the Special Counsel appointment. Again, it is highly unlikely that any trial occurs before President-Elect Trump takes office. In effect, the federal cases are dead.

State cases:

New York (election interference case): Judge Merchan has stated that he will issue a decision on Trump’s motion to set aside the jury verdict on November 12 and ordered that sentencing (if necessary) will be on November 26.

Georgia:  On December 5, the Georgia Court of Appeals will hear arguments on whether the lower court’s erred when it declined to dismiss DA Fani Willis.

It is an open question whether President Trump can pardon himself for violations of state law.  He may attempt to do this, and the issue will be litigated. Further, a strong case can be made that imprisoning and/or prosecuting a sitting president will conflict with the national interest and these state cases should be suspended until after President Trump leaves office.

8:40 Capt. William E. Simpson – RFK Jr. has a website www.MahoNow.org where you can nominate suggestions for Trump cabinet members. Bill’s been nominated so far to be the Wild Horse and Burro program coordinator.

Sat, Nov 9 at 9:06 AM
And that’s because I have the unique experience and multi-vocational experience to understand and effect the policies needed to properly manage the remaining 59,000 American wild horses in a manner that checks all these boxes:
1. Provides a cost-effective solution for wild horses that is Nature-Based & Humane; and,
2. Allows wild horses what was intended by the 1971 Act designed to protect wild horses and burros; and,
3. Saves American taxpayers the heavy costs of maintaining wild horses in a captive non-breeding state; and,
4. Reduces wildfire fuels in areas of vacant wilderness lands, where occupation by the horses does not create any economic hardships for other stakeholders; and,
5. Horses relocated are placed into balanced ecosystems where their natural predators are present, thus provided the necessity of Natural Selection to maintain the genetic vigor of the horses while also controlling populations.
There are several other important environmental benefits to managing horses in concert with modern science, as opposed to hamstrung by the hinderances of a Law passed 50-years ago, when there were 100-million less Americans living in America, and 30% less demands for natural resources, many of which are sourced from the same public lands where horses are kept just because an obsolete Law required specific locations, when there are many other more appropriate locations for wild horses that exist with better water and grazing, and are beyond economic conflicts.
In 2019, numerous elected officials, including the Chair of the Energy Commission, U.S. Congressman Ron Wyden nominated me to serve as an advisor to the National BLM Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board.
At the time I became the finalist nominee and the Head of the BLM called me, my wife of 45-years, Laura lay dying in the intensive care wing of St. Vincents Hospital in Portland, OR.  I was driving 5,000 miles a month from the ranch in Nor. CA to Portland Oregon, spending 6-days a week at Laura’s hospital bedside, and one day each week making sure the wild horses she loved like family were well and the ranch was OK.
So when The Call came in November of 2019 for me to be that guy, I had to decline. My wife’s needs came first.
Now, a film producer-director (Autie Carlisle) has spent the last year (Aug. 2023-Aug. 2024) producing a 40-minute documentary about the wild horses we have protected and studied, which in-turn, saved our community and forest from wildfire, and the loss of Laura’s life because she wouldn’t evacuate (leave me) because I was staying at the request of CALFIRE to serve as their Technical Advisor on the deadly 2018 Klamathon Fire… and I was on the fire-line for 9-days straight as a volunteer…. my lungs were damaged.  And Laura was made ill and was killed by the toxins that are in the new type of wildfire smoke that is caused by the excessive grass and brush fuels that make wildfires burn a temperatures not normally seen. That causes high-temperature chemistry to form novel hydrocarbon compounds, which are in the class of carcinogens. Laura passed away on June 6th, 2019.
For the past 30-years, WILD HORSE ADVOCATES have been ranting and begging for a change in favor of wild horses. HERE IS THE CHANCE WE HAVE ALL WANTED…

BUT IT’S UP TO YOU TO VOTE!!  I cannot make this happen unless my nomination is on top of the pile.  YOU now have a real chance to make a difference that will help save thousands of wild horses!
The process to Vote is simple:
1. Go to Bobby Kennedy Jr’s website ‘Kennedy MAHA’ at this link and ‘Sign Up’ for an account (it’s free);
2. You’ll get an email confirming your account, which allows you to ‘Login’
3. Login to your account, and then when you go back to the same link, you will see a ‘VOTE’ button.
Push the ‘VOTE’ button to Vote for me.
IF I get the position as Director of the BLM Wild Horse & Burro Program, you will see the end of the plight of American wild horses, that I promise.
In the meantime, I am not taking my foot off the gas pedal for all of our projects and programs… it’s full steam ahead, and your support makes that happen!

Do you think with the momentum, Election 2024 will be done and solved on the evening of November 5? Unlikely.  You haven’t seen anything yet. Do you think any of the 51 Intelligence officers, generals or admirals or any other elite personality that has worked to undermine the Constitution will walk themselves to jail, lock the door, and relax on their prison bunk? Of course not. You’d better steel up for a long, hard, grinding slog. Saving our Constitutional Republic for ourselves, our children, and generations to come is worth it. [more…]

7:35 Honest Elections Project Action Executive Director, Jason Snead joins my show. He recently issued the below statement today in reaction to a lawsuit filed by the ACLU in Iowa to keep noncitizens on the state’s voter rolls. This lawsuit is one of many that the Left has filed across the country to keep noncitizens on voter rolls.

Honest Elections Project Action Reacts to Flurry of Left-Wing Legal Action to Keep Noncitizens on Voter Rolls

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:

“The ACLU’s latest lawsuit in Iowa is yet another example of the Left’s full-court press to keep noncitizens on the voter rolls ahead of the election. Just as disturbing is the Biden Administration’s ongoing refusal to share records with states like Iowa, Ohio, and Texas that can help officials ID noncitizens who are registered to vote. It is shocking that the Biden Administration and Left’s election-industrial complex is so focused on keeping noncitizens on the voter rolls ahead of this election.”

8:10 Dr. Powers – www.DennisPowersBooks.com with today’s “Where Past Meets Present”.

The Roseburg Explosion

By Dennis Powers

On August 7, 1959, a Pacific Powder Company truck–crammed with 2 tons of dynamite and 4-1/2 tons of ammonium nitrate–was parked late at night in downtown Roseburg. After arriving earlier to schedule his first delivery for the morning, the driver stopped in front of a supply store near the corner of Oak and Pine Streets. Worrying about theft, the company had instructed him not to park at the usual explosive-storage depot located outside of Roseburg.

He walked down the street to spend the night at a local hotel. During the night, the building caught fire; shortly after 1:00 A.M., the alarms sounded and firemen quickly arrived. Captivated by the fire, no one noticed the warning that the truck was filled with explosives until it caught fire–and just moments before it detonated. Known also as “The Blast,” the explosion left a crater 20-feet deep and over 50-feet in diameter, and leveled eight blocks of Roseburg’s commercial core. It sent a mushroom cloud of smoke over 2,000 feet into the air to where some thought that there had been a Soviet atomic-bomb attack.

The blast killed 14 people, injured over 120 others, and numerous structures within the 30-block disaster area had to be demolished due to structural damage. Among the dead were a fireman, policeman, residents of nearby apartment buildings, and several onlookers. For two weeks, over a hundred Oregon National Guard troops patrolled the blast area–called “ground zero” by the mayor–so that the coroner and investigators could recover human remains and inspect the considerable structural damage.

The damages to the city were estimated between $10- and $12-million dollars (over 10-times in today’s dollars. Although the city didn’t qualify for federal urban renewal funds, most of the downtown’s businesses had insurance that covered the damages from the fires and explosion. As these businesses rebuilt, the city obtained land near the blast site to build a new bridge across the South Umpqua River to the downtown and improve traffic flow.

Investigations by the Interstate Commerce Commission (“ICC”) found both the driver and company at fault for parking the truck in a “congested area” and leaving it unattended. Approximately $1.2 million in civil damages were awarded to the victims, but criminal proceedings held the company to be innocent. At the time, the laws regarding the transportation of explosives covered only common carriers and did not regulate privately contracted deliveries.

The Roseburg explosion brought national attention that resulted in stricter explosive-transportation safety regulations and ICC enforcement. In addition, as with many small towns at the time, Roseburg didn’t have a disaster-response plan. The blast caused it and other communities to prepare these plans.
