Ivermectin…just a “Horse De-Wormer”? Pure nonsense as just a little searching on the web can bring you much information on this. Here is a link to numerous medical study analysis of using Covid-19 to treat Covid-19 – Ivermectin for COVID-19: real-time meta analysis of 63 studies

Here is analysis on Ivermectin Success in Treating Covid-19 Outbreaks – https://covid19criticalcare.com/ivermectin-in-covid-19/epidemiologic-analyses-on-covid19-and-ivermectin/

Hmm…haven’t seen much reporting on all this, wonder why?

6:30 CHAD KUSHINS author of BEAST: John Bonham and the Rise of Led Zeppelin

John Bonham’s life may have been tragically cut short, but he left behind a legacy as one of the most important, well-known, and influential drummers in rock. As Adam Budofsky, managing editor of Modern Drummer, explained, “If the king of rock ‘n’ roll was Elvis Presley, then the king of rock drumming was certainly John Bonham.”

And while no shortage of writing exists documenting Led Zeppelin and its iconic place in rock music’s canon, Bonham’s story often sits in the shadow of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page’s showmanship, reserved as the tragedy waiting to happen that would mark the band’s end. C.M. Kushins’s BEAST: John Bonham and the Rise of Led Zeppelin promises to be the first book to focus in on the life of the drummer who gave Zeppelin its heavy, singular, and unmistakable sound on songs like “When the Levee Breaks” and “Kashmir.”

John and I discuss a new article from Rachel Dawson – “PacifiCorp can do more to prevent future blackouts”

Environmental groups including the Sierra Club and Western Resource Advocates have sent PacifiCorp a clear message after the release of the utility’s newest Integrated Resource Plan (IRP):

It doesn’t matter how much you do, we will always want more.

An IRP is like a utility roadmap; it shows a utility’s plan to meet future energy and capacity needs. While many combinations of resources, known as portfolios, are considered, the preferred portfolio is one that includes a combination of “least-cost and least-risk” energy resources.

6:35 Wayne Allen Root – More on Wayne: www.rootforamerica.com

Nationally syndicated talk show host and bestselling author Wayne Allyn Root‘s new book, The Great Patriot Protest & Boycott Book is the game-changer the “silent majority” has been waiting for. This book is how we become the LOUD MAJORITY. Christians, patriots and Trump supporters make up more than half of the purchasing power in America. Yet the companies we support have turned against us – they have slandered us, offended us, bullied us, ignored us and turned us into the enemy- all the while depending on us to keep buying their products. No more. It’s time to fight back!

No matter how much we protest to government officials, they don’t care. Wayne believes they’re all bought and paid for by China, The Chinese Communist Party and George Soros. But the corporations and their CEOs still answer to shareholders; and we can hit them where it hurts the most – their bottom line. We are the economic engine of America – the spending majority – and we have the most purchasing power. We spend the most money.

Wayne’s new book contains a comprehensive list of company names, CEO names, board names, addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and social media accounts of the top 100+ large companies in the USA who hate us, ignore us, offend us, and treat us like we don’t matter. If millions of us use this handbook to contact these bullies, we can bring these “woke” companies to their knees, change corporate behavior, and cut off the flow of corporate donations to Democrats.

8:10 Dr. Dennis Powers, “Where Past Meets Present”

Andy Maurer: Football Star and Coach from a Tiny Town

By Dennis Powers

Andy Maurer was born in small Silverton, Oregon (in eastern Willamette Valley) in 1948, and lived in even smaller Prospect (450 people, now) where he attended high school. Maurer played football on an eight-man team, but still stood out from that small town, earning All-American status in football and basketball as a 6-4, 220-pound athlete to go with his track and field marks.

He continued his athleticism on the collegiate level at the University of Oregon and played in the first game ever at Autzen Stadium when Colorado played Oregon in 1967. His play again stood out–as a fullback, tight end, and offensive lineman at Oregon from 1967-69–being selected by Atlanta during the 3rd round of the 1970 NFL Draft.

As an NFL offensive lineman (right guard and left tackle), he played four years with the Falcons, two stints with the Minnesota Vikings and one year apiece with the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos–for a total of eight seasons. He was a starting guard for Minnesota in Super Bowl IX (won by the Pittsburgh Steelers), and for Denver in Super Bowl XII (won by the Dallas Cowboys). Maurer appeared in 109 regular season pro-football games, starting 84 of them; he started in all seven playoff games. Individually, he displayed durability as he put together a four-season consecutive games played streak (1970 to 1973).

After retiring from football, he moved to Medford and was a successful businessman. Maurer may have had his greatest impact when he founded and coached the Cascade Christian High School football program in 1992 (which then didn’t even have a field) and ultimately amassed a 100-78 record with the Challengers in the 1A to 3A class. The Challengers reached the state playoffs six times under him, winning the Class 2A crown in 2006 (returning to Autzen Stadium to lead Cascade Christian to its 27-18 win over Bonanza in this championship game). Cascade then moved up to the 3A level, and his teams reached the semifinal round in three of his final four seasons (retiring in 2010) while enjoying unbeaten regular seasons in 2005 and 2009.

His son, Marty, was quoted: “He didn’t just believe that he was training football players–he believed he was training husbands, fathers, future business owners and leaders, and he took that seriously as an important investment in the lives of the players he coached. Everyone has shared stories about how they’ve had their lives touched by my dad beyond football and it’s pretty cool to hear that.”

He died in early January 2016 at age 67 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
